The Bennedict Mathurin Community Basketball Camp’s mission to inspire and uplift the next generation through the power of sport. Hosted by NBA player Bennedict Mathurin, this free one-day camp offers youth from underserved communities the chance to learn from experienced coaches, build fundamental basketball skills, and engage in mentorship activities that promote confidence, teamwork, and leadership. More than just a camp, it’s a celebration of community, resilience, and opportunity.

Over the years, the camp has continued to grow, returning each summer with the same commitment to giving back and creating positive experiences for local youth. In 2025 — Montreal native returned home to host his 3rd Annual Youth Basketball Camp, a community-focused initiative dedicated to giving back. The camp emphasized basketball skill development while also creating space for storytelling, mentorship, and inspiration for local youth.
